Important Updates

On April 6, 2015, the Court entered an Order Granting Preliminary Approval of the Small Pumper Class [Wood Class] Stipulation of Settlement and the Settlement set forth therein. (Order.pdf) The Small Pumper Class Stipulation of Settlement incorporates a Stipulated Proposed Physical Solution (the "SPPS") which purports to allocate the groundwater or the native safe yield of Antelope Valley to various parties. See the Wood Class Stipulation of Settlement and Stipulated Propsed Physical Solution below. The Willis Class filed an Opposition and Objections to the Wood Class Settlement and SPPS as sent forth below. There will be a hearing starting on August 3, 2015, to determine if Final Approval of the Wood Class Settlement is warrented after the Court hears arguments in support of and in opposition to Final Approval.

  • IMPORTANT UPDATE: On May 13, 2011, the Court entered Final Judgment approving Willis class action settlement -   Final Judgment. The terms of the settlement and your rights with respect thereto are generally described in the Notice of Proposed Class Action Settlement previously sent to the Class and available here   Settlement Notice .
